At the historic three-sided farm in the South of Leipzig, everything revolves around the craft of laying mosaics. hillereiMOSAIK is owned by artisan craftswoman Andrea Hiller who lovingly creates unique artworks from ceramic tiles, coloured glass and other materials here. Her wide selection of artworks ranges from delicate pieces of jewellery to mosaics for use in gardens or living spaces and murals. She also takes commissions for customised mosaics.
In addition, the workshop serves as a seminar room for guests interested in learning the craft or just giving it a try. The farm, which has belonged to the Hiller family since 1997, also houses her husband Karsten Hiller's carpentry workshop, a demonstration workshop for the mosaics, and the "Shared Shop for Beautiful Things", where you can find hillereiMOSAIK's products alongside a colourful assortment of handmade products supplied by craftspeople, artists and small manufacturers from the surrounding region, all available for sale.
