"Schille" Playhouse

Short facts

The former Turkish café has been used as a theatre since 1951 and offers you a multi-facetted theatre and music programme.

At the "Schille", the play house of the Evangelisches Schulzentrum Leipzig, the range of events extends from amateur and professional theatre performances to jazz and classical concerts.

The theatre has a large auditorium with 99 seats and a charming café with a cabaret stage and seats 40. The theatre performances by the theatre group "Chemitainment" of the Protestant School Centre take place here regularly. Students of the chemistry study a play and use a combination of chemistry and entertainment to create special effects.
