Short facts

  • Leipzig
  • Viewpoint/viewing tower,…

The Rosental Park and the "Wackelturm" viewing platform are located in Leipzig's alluvial forest. From here, you can enjoy a unique panoramic view.

The Rosental Park covers the largest grassy area in Leipzig and is one of the city's most popular historical parks. A large lawn for sunbathing and numerous walking trails adorn this area of Leipzig's alluvial forest.

The 20 m high observation tower, the "Wackelturm", and its view of the Leipzig Zoo (from which you can see part the African Savannah) are particularly fun to visit during a stroll through the park.
